It is with a great deal of sadness that I send my sympathy in the loss of Lois. For many years I lived in Ames and Lois would join our little rug hooking group each week. As the years went by, we also traveled to Newton to hook and attend workshops. She was a lovely lady with many talents and I know you will all miss her very much. Egenes Family, I am so sorry to read about the death of your loved one. Something that helped me when my grandfather died was the bibles hope. It assures us God is near to those that are broken at heart and those who are crushed in spirit he saves. We read about this at Psalm 34:18. So sorry to hear of Mrs. Egenes passing. I have known the Egenes since I was a child, as we attended the same church. She was a wonderful person. She had my daughter in piano lessons. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
