I am saddened to hear of Mike's untimely passing. I met him because our offices were in the same building, and as we chatted from time to time, it became evident we had some common interests. I was struck by his sense of humor and has joy for life. I send great compassion and prayers to his family and all who loved him.

Mike was my best friend when I was in 10th and 11th grade (he was a year older than me) and we spent many happy hours playing guitars, talking, just hanging out together. He taught me a lot about life and I think he may have just saved mine, because I really needed a friend right then. He was one of the good ones and I'll miss him.

Mike and I were business partners at House Smart Realty and friends for the past 9 years. He enjoyed the real estate business so much. He was a lot of fun to be around. He had a passionate for life; it is so sad that it ended so soon. He had a good heart and it showed in his community involvement. He will be truly missed by his Indy friends, customers, and peers in the business, and especially by me. A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 17, 2014 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Office Suites West, 2680 East Main Street, Plainfield, IN 46168. All are welcome, please do not send flowers or donations.
