To Loren's family, We were neighbors in Newton, until both of my parents died in 1987. Loren took me to the Girl Scouts Father Daughter dance because my Dad had to work. I spent hours over at Evelyn and his home. Bobby and I used to play all the time together. Loren was always the nicest man and I wish that I had not had to move away after my parents passed. I remember him and his wife always being so kind and loving. He will truly be missed. Loren, please tell my Mom (Valenta) and Dad (Larry) hello up in heaven. Sending prayers for your family. Our deepest sympathy to Evelyn and family. Loren was one great guy, and we enjoyed so many years of friendship. Lots of laughter, fun and so many stories we could tell. He was one terrific baby-sitter and we had no problems leaving ours and his kids with him so Evelyn and I could go shopping. He will be missed and will always be remembered fondly. Loren was a wonderful man. He will be missed by all. He was a hard worker and gave 100% to the Newton Water Department. As a supervisor he lead by example. I am proud to have known him. May God carry you thru this very difficult time. May he rest in peace.

To the family of Loren J Tedrow, My name is Billijo Weaver, I am married to Dondi Weaver, Ray Weaver lived with our family and I took of him until he passed, My children and I heard many stories from Ray about him and Tedrow, how they would go to the newton football games, go so early that they beat the field workers there, before that they would go to maidrites to eat. every Friday night, during the season, the stories about the cowbells, and cheers and tears, they were good friends, and shared a lot of laughs together, as I am sure they are doing now, On the behalf of our family, Dondi and Billijo Weaver, and our children and Ave logue Weaver and family we offer out condolence, our thoughts and our prayers to all of you and your families.

It's hard to believe, what a good man. I knew Loren for many years and he was always a kind and loving man. He was devoted to his family and was a mentor to his son Bobby as well as his other family members. Living in northwest iowa now, wish I could be there. Miss you BOB! To his family he has left behind, my thoughts and prayers go out to you in this time of your loss. Loren meant a lot to me and I will always hold dear the friendship we shared. I'm sure sometime in the next Newton Cardinal football season we may hear Loren's voice "GO CARDS GO!"

What a wonderful uncle to have had in my life. I will miss you always and reminisce from time to time the camping trips we shared and wild game feeds we attended. I will think about you when ever I see the Bears or Hawkeyes play and I'll always keep tabs on the Cardinals. Rest in peace my uncle until we meet again.

E.T. and family Really going to miss Ted. He was a special guy and an outstanding employee and ambassador for the Newton Water Works. Will miss him asking about how is the fishing at the lake.
