I met Mildred while working in the Newton Village and caring for her. She definitely was a believer in life after. I would ask her how she was and she would always reply, "I'm still here, I keep asking the lord to take me home but I guess he still has plans for me here. I don't know what they would be." So she taught me to sing her song Until the Day. She also introduced me to her little poem. Ready to Go. She was a sweet lady and she will be thoroughly missed. She always made my day when I would come and get her ready for bed. Love that lady and wish you all healing from your loss. I am sure she is happy in her after life that she has looked so forward to. God Bless.
P.S. So very sorry I did not learn of her loss until just the other day or I would have been at visitation for sure.
Mildred was a lady who loved the Lord Jesus Christ, her family, and friends and sought ways to show this and did a very good job at it. By the grace of God she would say and not of her own merit. She was so pleasant to be around and we praise God for her life and know she is with her Savior now. See you later, Mildred.
