Ruth Rollet Erickson, age 92, of Newton died Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at Monarch Wing At Skiff Medical Center, Newton.
Mrs. Erickson was born August 14, 1914 at St. Hilaire, MN the daughter of the late Fred and the late Emma (Lubitz) Rux. He predeceased her December 30, 1992.
She was employed by as a Homemaker.
Mrs. Erickson was a member of Women's Good Cheer Group
She is survived by two daughters: Janice Mudd of Cedar Rapids, IA, Jacqueline & Bill Cody of West Union, IA and two sons: Jerry & Miye Erickson of Santa Anna, CA, Jan & Rayleen Erickson of Princeton, IA
Predeceased by her Son, Jim Erickson, Son-in-law, Dale Mudd, , Sibling In Infancy, Brother, Henry Rux, Brother, Martin Rux
Calling hours will be Saturday from prior to services at Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home, 310 N. 2nd Ave. E., Newton, IA. The funeral will be Saturday at 10:30 at First Lutheran Church, 309 E. 3rd Street N., Newton with Rev. Howard Vrankin officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Newton on Saturday at 11:30 am.
Memorials may be made to first Lutheran Church; heritage Manor Care Center; Hospice of Jasper County
