Sylvia L. Foster, age 95, of 1514 High Ave. W., Oskaloosa died Friday, May 4, 2007 at Mahaska Health Partnership, Oskaloosa.
Mrs. Foster was born October 9, 1911 at , IL the daughter of the late Louis and the late Nora Mae (Hill) McLead. He predeceased her February 23, 1972.
She was employed by as a Homemaker.
Mrs. Foster was a member of Killduff United Methodist Church
She is survived by three daughters: Joyce Kelderman of Oskaloosa, IA, Jenny Daugherty of TX, Violet & Vern Gebhart of Centerville, IA and three sons: Bill Foster of Des Moines, IA, Andrew & Helen Foster of Oskaloosa, IA, Glen & Dorothy Foster of Colfax, IA
Predeceased by her Daughter, Carol Masterson, Son, Charles Foster, Son, Bob Foster, Granddaughter, Tina Masterson, Grandson, Allen Gravitt
Calling hours will be Monday from prior to services at Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home, 310 N. 2nd Ave. E., Newton, IA. The funeral will be Monday at 1:00 at Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home, 310 N. 2nd Ave. E., Newton with Rev. Harold Schutte officiating.
Burial will be in Newton Union Cemetery, Newton on Monday at 2:00 pm.
