Thomas Richard Santen, age 72, of Newton died Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at Monarch Wing At Skiff Medical Center, Newton.
Mr. Santen was born September 13, 1934 at Newton, IA the son of the late Thomas and the late Virginia (Winter) Santen. He married JeanineHesson February 6, 1954 at Newton, Iowa.
He was employed by Interstate Insurance as a Insurance Agent.
Mr. Santen was a member of Community Heights Alliance Church; Newton Rotary Club
He is survived by his wife: Jeanine(Hesson) Santen, one daughter: Julie & Steve Terlouw of Mt. Horeb, WI and one son: Douglas & Nancy Santen of Aurora, CO
Brother of one sister: Betty & Paul Kemmerling of Surprise, AZ
Brother-in-law, Marv Weeks of Newton, IA
Predeceased by his Sister, Mary Jean Weeks
Calling hours will be Friday from Visitation with the family will be from 6 - 8pm at Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home, 310 N. 2nd Ave. E., Newton, IA. The funeral will be Saturday at 2:00 at Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home, 310 N. 2nd Ave. E., Newton with Rev. Cory Stout officiating.
Burial will be in Merle Hay Crematory, Des Moines on Friday at 8:00 am.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Jasper County; Community Heights Alliance Church
