Obituary of Janet Louise Eilander

Janet Louise Eilander, age 65, of 211 E. 14th St. N., Newton died Sunday, October 14, 2007 at Monarch Wing At Skiff Medical Center, Newton. Mrs. Eilander was born March 8, 1942 at Prairie City, IA the daughter of the late Gerritt and Alice (Hawkins) Vander Leest. He predeceased her July 4, 1996. She was employed by JC Penney Company as a Sales. Mrs. Eilander was a member of Jasper County Bowling Association; Rebekah Lodge; V.F.W. Post #1655 Auxiliary She is survived by two daughters: Amy Eilander of Newton, IA, Pam Miller of Des Moines, IA and two sons: Roger Miller of Des Moines, IA, Ron Miller of Des Moines, IA Daughter of Alice (Hawkins) Vander Leest Sister of four sisters: Dolores & Joe McMaster of Kingman, AZ, Shirley & Henry Harris of Grinnell, IA, Beverly & Carlo Supino of Newton, IA, Roberta Lewis of Berwick, IA and one brother: Robert & Carmen Vander Leest of Newton, IA Aunt, Maxine McClellan of Prairie City, IA Predeceased by her Brother, James Vander Leest Calling hours will be Wednesday from Visitation with the family will be from 6 - 7:30pm at Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home, 310 N. 2nd Ave. E., Newton, IA. The funeral will be Thursday at 10:30 at Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home, 310 N. 2nd Ave. E., Newton with Rev. Merle Smith officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Lynnville on Thursday at 10:30 am. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Jasper County
