Marjorie Ellen Kreager, age 86, of 500 1st St. N., Newton died Saturday, November 3, 2007 at Park Centre Garden View, Newton. Mrs. Kreager was born April 20, 1921 at Fort Dodge, IA the daughter of the late Chester Arthur and the late Mary Elizabeth (Weaver) Scheerer. She was employed by Jasper County Extension Office as a General Laborer. Mrs. Kreager was a member of 1st United Methodist Church; Hieffer International; Skiff Hospital Auxiliary; Newton YMCA board She is survived by two daughters: Mary & John Holwell of Des Moines, IA, Marcia & Scott Schroeder of Davenport, IA Sister of one sister: Jane & Joe Caffrey Brother-in-law, Mike Magnall; Brother-in-law, J.C. Doran Predeceased by her Sister, Jean Magnall, Sister, Patricia Doran Calling hours will be Wednesday from prior to services at First United Methodist Church, 210 N. 2nd Avenue E., Newton, IA. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:00 at First United Methodist Church, 210 N. 2nd Avenue E., Newton with Rev. Gary Marzolf officiating.
