Donald --- Moes, age 79, of 11579 - Hwy F-62 E., PO Box 245, Sully died Monday, November 5, 2007 at Monarch Wing At Skiff Medical Center, Newton. Mr. Moes was born September 12, 1928 at Sully, IA the son of the late Lammert and the late Cornelia (Dieleman) Moes. He married Arlene J.Tuinstra March 4, 1950 at Tama, Iowa. He retired from Sully Plumbing And Heating as a Plumber in 1987. He is survived by his wife: Arlene J.(Tuinstra) Moes and one son: Bryce & Laura Moes of Newton, IA Granddaughter, Kelsey Moes of Newton, `; Brother-in-law, Ed Sparks of Waukee; Sister-in-law, Evelyn Moes of Pleasant Hill, IA; Sister-in-law, Irene Moes of Sully, IA Predeceased by his Son, Jerry Moes, Brother, Ralph Moes, Brother, Bill Moes, Sister, Jenny Moes, Sister, Elizabeth Vos, Sister, Gertrude Pleima, Sister, Cornelia Moes, Sister, Wilma Sparks Calling hours will be Wednesday from Visitation with the family will be from 6 - 8pm at Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home, 310 N. 2nd Ave. E., Newton, IA. The funeral will be Thursday at 1:30 at Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home, 310 N. 2nd Ave. E., Newton with Rev. Jim Olson officiating. Burial will be in Sully Cemetery, Sully on Thursday at 1:30 pm.
