Ernest Clyde Knopf, age 73, of 1301 - S. 4th Ave. W., Newton died Sunday, November 25, 2007 at Monarch Wing At Skiff Medical Center, Newton.
Mr. Knopf was born November 12, 1934 at Berkley, IA the son of the late George - - - and the late Alice - - - (Neilsen) Knopf. He married BettyNorthcott February 7, 1959 at Newton, Iowa.
He served in the Army from 1954 to 1956 during Peace Time war .
He was employed by Vernon Company as a Administrative Director.
He is survived by his wife: Betty(Northcott) Knopf, one daughter: Lynn Pickett of Newton, IA and one son: Mark & Rhonda Knopf of Newton, IA

Predeceased by his , 3 Brothers
Calling hours will be Tuesday from Visitation with the family will be from 3 - 6pm at Elks Lodge, , . The funeral will be Tuesday at 1:00 at Newton Union Cemetery, 1600 - W. 4th Street N., Newton with Rev. Merle Smith, Chaplain officiating.
Burial will be in Newton Union Cemetery, Newton on Tuesday at 1:00 pm.
