Obituary of Sylvia Marie Fuller

Sylvia Marie Fuller, the daughter of Earl O'Dean and Jessie (Males) Eurom, was born February 11, 1917 in Marshall County, Iowa. Sylvia was united in marriage with Le Roy Chester Childs in Newton, Iowa in 1935. He would precede her in death in 1947. In 1949, Sylvia was united in marriage with Harold H. Fuller in Newton, Iowa. Sylvia devoted her life to her family. She was a member of the Newton Moose Lodge. Sylvia died on January 29, 2012 at the Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina. She was 94 years old. Sylvia was preceded in death by her first husband, Le Roy; her husband, Harold in 1992; a son, Clarence Chester "Bud" Childs; a step daughter and her husband, Bonnie and Vern Ryan, one step grandson; one granddaughter; one step granddaughter; one great granddaughter and her four brothers, Lloyd Eurom, Fred Eurom, Clarence Eurom, and George Leach. Those left to honor Sylvia's memory include her son, Ronald Lee (Wanda) Childs of Port Charlotte, FL; her daughter, Judith Ann (Bruce) Crew of Rock Hill, S.C.; her step son, Wesley Charles (Gail) Fuller of Punta Gorda, FL; her step daughter, Sharon (Hal) Atkinson of Simpsonville, S.C.; her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday February 4th at 11:00 am at the Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home in Newton. The family will greet friends on Saturday February 4th at 10:00 am. Memorials may be designated in Sylvia's name to Newton Moose Haven.
