Obituary of Sharon Kay Wells

Sharon K. Wells, the daughter of Walter LeRoy Beard and Helen Alene Teed, was born January 20, 1950, in Colfax, Iowa.  She was graduated from Colfax High School in Colfax, Iowa.  Sharon was united in marriage to Steven Lowell Wells on February 16, 1968, in Newton, Iowa. 

Sharon was employed by Newton Manufacturing in the processing orders department.   After her retirement, she and Steven loved to travel the United States. 

On Wednesday afternoon, November 6, 2024, Sharon entered her eternal heavenly home.  She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Carol Willis.

Those left to honor the memory of Sharon include her husband Steven Lowell Wells and sisters Loretta Heiden, Ellen Agan and Karen Lloyd.

No services are planned.  Pence-Reese Funeral Home in Newton has been entrusted with the arrangements.  Memorials in Sharon’s name are being designated to Hospice of Pella or the American Cancer Society.
