Very sorry to get the word of Clarice passing. Always so happy, with a big smile and wanting to know how everyone was doing. So many fun times at family reunions. A special memory was Clarice and Leora coming in the door at Prairie Meadows on Veterans Day, a few years ago. The American Legion was there, with the Des Moines Radio Group, doing a telethon to raise money for veterans who were needing assistance. I saw them and called out “Nordholm girls.” They both turned and saw me and just had a surprised look on their faces. I went to them and gave them a hug and told them “this isn’t a church, are you lost?” They told me they were there for the buffet. A great day for us all. Rest in Peace Clarice. Many first cousins, your mom and dad, Mark and Sig are rejoicing that you are with them for eternity.

Julie and family, so sorry for your loss. She had a wonderful life. Her and Leora had so much fun and talked every night. It was wonderful to be at Leora’s 100th party and getting to visit with everyone. I will continue decorating the gravesites in Gowrie for her. Betty Lundblad Peterson, Carroll, Iowa.
