Obituary of Floyd LeRoy Innis Jr.

Floyd Leroy Innis Jr., the son of Floyd Innis and Barbara Foster, was born June 20, 1946 in Grinnell, Iowa. 

  He was a graduate of Grinnell High School in Grinnell, Iowa with the Class of 1964. 

  On March 8, 1969, Floyd was united in marriage to Rosemary Scribner in Lancaster, Missouri. 

  Floyd served his country in the U.S. Navy. 

  Floyd worked for the Maytag Company in Research and Development for 30 years.  He was an active member of the Izaak Walton League in Newton.

  Floyd died at his home in Newton on September 8, 2023.  Those left to honor the memory of Floyd include his wife Rosemary Innis, daughter Leslie Innis and granddaughter Daphne Innis-Wallace.  

  A Celebration of Life will be 2:00p.m., Sunday, November 5, 2023, at the Newton Izaak Walton League, 889 – Hwy F36 West, Newton, Iowa.
