Obituary of Marjorie A Branderhorst

Marjorie Ann Branderhorst passed away peacefully December 1, 2021, with family by her side.

Margie was born December 15, 1957. She was the daughter of Larry and Maryann (Bansemer) Loupee. She graduated from Newton High School in 1976. She attended Luther College and graduated there with a BSN in nursing in 1981.

Margie was united in marriage to Bill Branderhorst on November 27, 1982, and together they share two children, Ben and Joel.

Margie was a registered nurse for many years and was well known for her caring and outgoing personality. Margie loved to go camping with her family and friends, ride bikes and enjoyed dancing and listening to music.

Those left to honor Margie's memory include her Husband, Bill, her son, Ben (Michelle), her son, Joel (Jessie). Her grandchildren, Lillian, William, Beau and Vivian. Her mother, Maryann Loupee and Brother, Mike (Rachel) Loupee, Brother-in- law, Mark (Lois) Branderhorst & Sisters-in-law, Joyce (Craig) VanDerWilt & Judy (Allen) Nikkel and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her Father, Larry Loupee, and her in-laws, William and Jennie Branderhorst. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Margie's name to Newton Christian School.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Newton Christian Reformed Church. A Facebook Live broadcast will begin at 2:00 p.m., December 8th on the Pence Reese Funeral Home and Cremation Services Facebook page. A celebration of life will follow the service at Fore Seasons Golf Club in Newton, Iowa.
