Phyllis A. Axtell, age 81, of 407-S. East Ave., Baxter died Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Baxter Health Care Center.
Ms. Axtell was born May 20, 1929 at Hamburg, Iowa, the daughter of the late Ross and the late Catherine (Fredrickson) Axtell.
She was employed by as a Certified Nurses Assistant.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Louise Axtell of Newton.
Private family services will be at Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home, 310 N. 2nd Ave. E., Newton with officiating.
