Kenneth L. "Spin" Fraaken

Kenneth passed away on September 28, 2021, at his home in Newton.

A time of remembrance and celebration of life will be held at a later date, Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home in Newton, have been entrusted with the arrangements. {Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, facemasks will be encouraged.} In lieu of flowers, and as an expression of sympathy, memorials may be designated to Kenneth's family.

Kenneth Lee "Spin" Fraaken, 58, was born December 2, 1962, in Des Moines, the son of Weldon Lee and Wilda Jean (Allan) Fraaken. He attended a local high school. Spin had devoted his life to his family and friends. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping and just hanging out with friends. Over the years he had been unemployed.     

   Spin is survived by his daughter Aspin Jo Fraaken; his mother Wilda Jean Fraaken; his brothers: Barney and Danny; and his many good neighbors and friends, including Lacy Olson and Edwin Dobbs. 

He was preceded in death by his father.
