Twilla Kay Meador, 66, passed away on Monday evening, August 2, 2021, at MercyOne Medical Center Newton. A time of remembrance and celebration of life will be 11:00am, Friday, August 6, 2021, Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home in Newton, who are entrusted with the arrangements. With a visitation an hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Newton Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, and as an expression of sympathy, memorials may be designated to Twilla's family. Twilla was born July 28, 1955, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton. She was the daughter of Donald Eugene and Dellia (Stevens) Coady. She was a graduate of the Mingo Senior High, Class of 1974. Twilla had devoted her life to her family and friends. Twilla is survived by her daughter Tina Kay (Jason) Sanders of Grinnell; her five grandchildren: Malachai (Ashton) Harris of Baxter, Daemon Harris (Amaya Elise) of Newton, Sydney Sanders of Grinnell, Jordyn Sanders of Gainesville, FL and Mason Sanders of Bussey; her great-grandchildren: Jeremiah Azzalyan, Jude and Kopelynn; her sister Dawn Dee; her brother Randy Coady; and her many good neighbors and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister in infancy Sue; and a brother Bill.
