Joan Louise Johnson, 90, of Newton Iowa died March 27, 2021.
Joan, the daughter of Lyle and Mabel Solomon Lathrop, was born August 15, 1930, in Marshalltown, Iowa. She was a 1948 graduate of Marshalltown High School.
Those left to honor her memory include daughter Cheryl (Alan) Mason of Grapevine, TX, daughter Michelle Langmaid of Monroe, son Stephen (Donna) Johnson of Keller, TX, daughter Samantha Ehsani of McKinney, TX, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one great, great grandchild and four nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Lyle Lathrop Jr., a sister, Gloria McCuen and brother-in-law Ed McCuen.
According to her wishes, no service is being planned.
