Our thoughts and prayers are with Lee's Family. His life is certainly one to be celebrated. I truly enjoyed working with Lee during my time at Progress Industries. He was a thoughtful and kind visionary who was not satisfied with the status quo. He continually challenged us all to do our best.

Uncle Lee was such a kind and gentle man. He was so caring and supportive of my mom, Hattie, his sister, in her battle with cancer. And again, when I lost my wife he called and shared the heart break that he knew I was feeling. Those acts of kindness couldn’t bring the loved ones back but it helped to not feel so alone in the sorrow – knowing that he understood the feeling of loss. He was a truly good man from/with a wonderful family.

I send my sympathy to the Zmolek family.
It was a privilege to know Lee for many years. We knew each other through Progress Industries....he being a faithful board member and I was the Administrative Assistant. Lee always came to the board meetings with a smile on his face and always a cordial greeting for me. He was a good man and always treated everyone the same. He and Mary had the gift of hospitality and were a big part of how Progress Industries got started. He will be missed. My prayers are with the family.
I’m so sorry I’m unable to attend Lee’s service. I have a cold and wouldn’t want to expose others.

Pauli,Mike, Tom and Stuart and Katherine
I can't comprehend that Lee is with his Lord in Heaven. He was my mentor since I started with the WaterWorks in 1975. He had already been on the Board for 9 years prior to that time. I leaned on him heavily and he was a wonderful teacher. His strength and stamina was unbelievable. He did things after retirement that I couldn't do at a younger age. He hand dug a tile around his house and he lovingly build a brick driveway one brick at a time. I enjoyed going to his house to deliver Board packet and having a mini board meeting before our regular meeting. I was always welcomed by Mary and later on Katherine. One of a kind. I'll miss him.
You are lucky to have had parents like Lee and Mary.

Sorry to hear of this news. He lead by example. A great man amongst men. I often sat behind him at church. Didn't know him that well, but saw first hand how he helped Stuart. May God bless his soul.

The world is a better place because of Lee and those of us who had the opportunity to know Lee, had no other option than to be better than we were before. Lee's expectations were set high, for himself and the people around him and therefore, his legacy will remain. My sincere condolences to the Zmolek Family.

We send our deepest sympathy on the loss of Lee Zmolek. He was giant of a man in his heart, and deep in his soul. He was to us leader, model, friend and “boss.” We know that without and doubt he was welcome into the arms of his loving wife Mary and embraced by his Lord Jesus. May time lessen the pain of your loss but never lessen your awareness of his love for you. Bill and Marilyn Powell
