I was so shocked to find out that Barb had passed away!! I have known her for quite a few years and visited with her whenever I could. I knew she had some health issue's but was not aware that they were very serious. I considered her to be a very good friend, and I will miss her very much. She was quick witted and spoke her mind, but she was also thoughtful and there to lend an ear if you needed it. I am just stunned that she has passed away, and I will miss her and getting the chance to go visit her. I was getting ready to make a trip to Newton just recently because I had written to her and didn't get a reply back so I knew something was up. She went through some tough times and I hope she knew that I was a friend to her, and would help her with anything she needed. May she rest in the arm's of the angels and God bless her and her family. I am so sorry to hear of your loss.

Barb went through some rough times in her life but always had a smile and a witty comeback when we talked about those times. I will miss her!

To Barb's Family, So sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of being Barb's insurance agent years ago and our relationship grew into a friendship. She had a great love for children and so enjoyed her job helping the children get back and forth to school. She will be greatly missed.

To Barb's Family, So very sorry for your loss. Barb and I were classmates while she attended school in Newton....The class of 1967 will be celebrating our 50th Reunion in June and we will add Barb's name to our tribute of deceased classmates. Barb and her Mother used to come into the Coast to Coast Store at least once a week when I worked there and we had great talks, mostly about our eczema. She will be missed by the children at Woodrow Wilson. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. Cheryl George
