Funeral services for Scott Bolles will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 27, 2017, at Altoona United Methodist Church. A public visitation will be on Sunday, February 26, 2017, at the church from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Memorials may be designated to the Harper Faye Bolles Fund.
Scott Bolles, the son of Paul and Pam (Nikkel) Bolles, was born October 15, 1985 in Des Moines, Iowa. Scott graduated from PCM High School in Monroe, Iowa with the Class of 2004. He continued his education at Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He graduated with a BS Degree; majoring in Psycology and minoring in Art.
On October 6, 2012, Scott was united in marriage to Suzanne Danielle Pierce in Newton, Iowa. Scott had lived in Prairie City, Cedar Rapids, West Des Moines and Altoona. He attended Altoona United Methodist Church. Scott cherished his relationship with family and friends and never knew a stranger. He loved all sports, especially the Kansas City Chiefs, Iowa Hawkeyes and Liverpool Soccer. Scott enjoyed his art, golf, fishing, movies, music, cribbage and crossword puzzles.
Scott, died on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. He was 31 years old. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, maternal grandparents and a close friend Nate LeGrand.
Those left to honor Scott's memory include his wife Suzanne Bolles of Altoona, daughter Harper Faye Bolles, parents Paul and Pam Bolles of Altoona, parents-in-law Mike and Tammy Pierce of Colfax, paternal grandmother Carol Bolles of Anthon, brother Tony and Alissa Bolles and children Treyton, Makynli, Ryker, Axyl and Layne of Long Grove, brother-in-law Casey Pierce and son Nash, sister-in-law Ami and David Kercheval and children Kaylee, Liam, Gavin and Parker, and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
