Obituary of Mitzi M Dillon

Mitzi M. Dillon Mitzi Dillon of Newton, formerly of Iowa Falls, passed from this life on Monday morning, April 25, 2016, at Park Centre Health Care. Mitzi M. Dillon, 94, was born December 27, 1921, near Underwood, Iowa. She was a high school graduate, and continued on to receive her degree in speech& drama from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. In 1946, Mitzi was united in marriage with John Miller. To this union two children were born. Mitzi had been preceded in death by her husband John. She had lived in River Forest, IL, Barrington, IL, Boston, MA, Archbold, OH, Pella, IA, prior to moving to Newton. On March 29, 1969, Mitzi was united in marriage with William K. Dillon in Chicago. Mitzi was a good wife, mother and friend, and will be greatly missed. Mitzi is survived by her son Christopher John Miller of Newton; her daughter Mary Noltie of Lancaster, OH; and special friend Barb Keninger of Iowa Falls. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband John; and her second husband William in December 1970. . A time of remembrance may be held at a later date. Pence – Reese Funeral Home in Newton has been entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left in Mitzi's name with the funeral home or a charity of your choosing.
