Obituary of Jack Michael Morris

Jack M. Morris of rural Kellogg passed from this life on Sunday morning, March 6, 2016, at his home. Jack Michael Morris, 57, was born October 7, 1958, near Newton, the son of Jerry B. and Beverly June (Crouse) Morris. He was a graduate of the Newton Senior High, Class of 1977. August 3, 1981, Jack was united in marriage with Lindy Winchell. To this union was born two sons: Gerald and Skyler. He had farmed for many years North of Kellogg. Jack was a good husband, father, grandfather and friend, he will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. He was a member of the Kellogg Christian Church. Jack enjoyed his music, fast cars & motorcycles, and was a hobby marksman. Jack is survived by his wife Lindy Morris; his sons: Gerald Morris and Skyler (Kayla) Morris; his two grandchildren: Payton and Maximus; his mother June Morris; a sister Terry Dannen and his brother Bill Morris; and his many friends. He was preceded in death by his father Jerry Morris. There is no public visitation planed. A time of Remembrance and Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 11, 2016, at the Rushville Woodland Cemetery in rural Kellogg-Newton. Pence – Reese Funeral Home in Newton has been entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left in Jack’s name to the Kellogg Christian Church or a charity of your choosing.
