Dear Verwers family:
Nan and truly share your loss. Your mom was one of the greatest ladies we have ever known. We are so thankful that you were our neighbors. Our lives were forever changed because your parents invited us to the Newton Assembly of God, where I was saved, filled with the Holy Spirit and called into ministry. I will always remember our time together at Janeway School, Newton AG and all the delicious "coffee times" Dad and I enjoyed while baling hay with you. Your mom impacted many lives. Her work ethic was extraordinary. She will be missed by all. Heaven's crowd of witnesses keeps growing and we long for the day we will join them. I am so sorry that we cannot attend Mom's service. I assure you, that if we were still in Iowa, we would be there! Our love and prayers are with you. May you experience an outpouring of God's love and peace in the days ahead.
