So sorry to hear about your mother, Sandy, and our condolences to you and Russ and all of your family. She led a long and fulfilling life, and definitely left a lot of memories for those of us who were greatly affected by knowing her. I can remember coming to your house a lot during our teenage years and found it to be a sort of haven of love, peace, fun, and acceptance that was somewhat lacking at home.
I asked Bob if he remember meeting here in Odense, Denmark. He said he didn't remember what she looked like but he did remember that he liked her very much. Found her to be delightful, entertaining, and quite charming, as well as articulate and well informed, and a joy to be around. I told him it wasn't important that he remember what she looked like, because he remembeerd all the important things.
Wish we could be there for the funeral, but I am sure it will be well attended.
