Betty June Heifner, the daughter of Earnest Milton and Bessie Lena Ellyson Heifner, was born November 11, 1922 in Springdale, AK. Betty graduated from the Newton Senior High with the class of 1941.
Betty worked for the United Telephone Company in Newton. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Newton.
Betty died on Monday, November 21, 2011 at the Newton Healthcare Center. She was 89 years old. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Mary Melba, Madeline Heifner and Capitola Heifner.
Those left to honor Betty's memory include her cousins and friends.
