Obituary of Mary Margaret Haworth

Mary Margaret Haworth, the daughter of Everett Edward and Sarah Signa Carr McClure, was born September 12, 1938 near Barnes City, Iowa. She graduated from the Montezuma Senior High School with the class of 1956 and went on to become a Registered Nurse. Mary enjoyed the out of doors and passed this love on to her children and grandchildren. She taught both Andrea and James to hunt and fish. Mary also enjoyed taking photographs throughout her journey of life. Mary died on Sunday, March 13, 2011 in the Monarch Wing at Skiff Medical Center in Newton. She was 72 years old. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Edward McClure and her sister, Jean Robinson. Those left to honor Mary's memory include her daughter, Andrea R. Haworth of Searsboro, IA; her son, James (Lisa) Haworth of Oskaloosa, IA; her grandchildren, Chance, Harrison, Julia and Austin; her great granddaughter, Addison and her brother, Lowell McClure of Grinnell, IA. Services will be held Friday, March 18th at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Newton. The family will greet friends prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. Memorial may be designated to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and may be left at the church or at Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home.
