Brenda, Sandy, Freda, Bob, Randy, Renee, and all the family:
There are no words I can say that will ease your pain. You all are in our thoughts & prayers dear friends. May God comfort & guide you all through the days ahead. Rich has touched so many lives & God has gained a good soul of a man. God speed Rich.
I remember as a little girl growing up when you lived across on 8th street, especially when my Grandpa Frank Cooper ran his Jolly Wagon, all of the neighborhood kids waiting patiently to get our icecream. You will be missed by all who know you.
Eskimo Proverb: “Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings...” “Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.”

Richard, Robert and I were all born in Centerville during 1953. Our families both relocated later to Newton, Iowa.
We all graduated from Newton High School together in 1971. My memories of Richard include a great big smile and laugh.
I worked at the bowling alley at the Newton shopping center. Richard was in the Sunday night high school boys bowling league and loved to play the pinball machines.
Love and prayers for Bob, his wife and the rest of his family.
God bless!
