Hoo Im (Yang) Lee, was born December 19, 1919 in Seoul, Korea. She was united in marriage with Soo Young Lee in 1940 in Seoul. Hoo Im devoted her life to her husband and family.
Hoo Im died on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at her home in Newton. She was 100 years old. Hoo Im was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and one son.
Those left to honor Hoo Im's memory include her sons, In Taik (Soon Hee) Lee of Des Moines, Iowa and In Ho Lee of California; her daughters, In Yup Yi of Newton Iowa and In Ja (Chun B. ) Chun of Newton, Iowa; her fifteen grandchildren and twenty-one- great grandchildren.
Private family services will be held for Hoo Im.
