Rosalie Brammer

Rosalie, the daughter of Thomas Eugene and Opal Irene (Alloway) Lester, was born January 5, 1957, in Newton. She was a graduate of the Newton Senior High, Class of 1974.

In 1985, she was united in marriage with Ronald Dale Brammer. She had devoted her life to her family, and was employed at Best Western, Skiff Medical Center and Peck Daycare, in housekeeping, and as a cashier at Dollar Tree. She enjoyed spending time with her family, photography, crafts, garage sales and friends.

Rosalie Brammer, 63, died Sunday evening, April 26, 2020, at her sister's home. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister Rita Cooper; and a half-brother Dwayne Lester.

Those left to honor Rosalie's memory include her daughters: Carey (James) Liebhart and Alicia (Kenny) Chance; three grandchildren: Toby Quick, Logan Freeman and Desirae Quick; sisters: Bonnie Geerling and Becky Webster; brothers: Butch, Keith and Gary Lester; and her many friends.

Private Graveside Services for Rosalie will be held at Silent City Cemetery in Monroe, the Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home in Newton, have been entrusted with the local arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Rosalie's family, or to a charity of your choosing.
