Nancy, We want to express our sincere condolences on your loss. We video chatted with Debbie this evening and told her how sorry we are. She will give you a hug from us when she sees you. Mom remembers when Joe and John first came to America. That's a lot of memories!! The Lord gives us many precious memories of family over the years!! Hold on to those! Much love to you and the family from Marie and Janet Hardenbrook
My deepest sympathy to Joe's family. You are a close family and will continue to be as you go thru this together. God bless each and every one of you. Deb, Carla, and Nancy, my prayers are with you and yours.
My sympathy to all of Joe's family. My parents, Russell & Esther Morris, lived "down the road" in rural Newton many years ago and they considered the Annees good neighbors and thoughtful friends.

Joe I will truly miss you. I will always remember when you come to our home I had to hide anything that I thought you might get into. Especially my Suharto bowl. I left the room for a minute and you had already did a number on that . I went to use it one day and looked in it and thought I had a big water bug in it . But instead it was a grape you had stuck down in it. Boy did I get a shock from that one. You were onary. But It brings a smile to my face. I love you Joe and Steve and I will truly miss you. May god be with all the family. All my love to you all. Just me, Roz.
What can I say....you're a hoot! I know we were connected thru your daughter Debbie....but that became a connection of pure love and admiration.....As Nancy once told me, 'we may have not always agreed....but I was always fair when 'dealing' with ya'll'...those words have stayed with me forever!!
Nancy & family:
So sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I always enjoyed waiting on you both at the bank. God has a wonderful soul, who's smile could brighten anyone' day. God speed Joe. Nancy you all are in my thoughts & prayers. May God comfort & guide you all through the days ahead.
I’m going to miss you Gramps. You’ve changed my life a lot. It’s very cool to have a grandpa that lived through World War 2. I hope you have a good time with your family in heaven. I’m really going to miss you.
Love, Lily
My grandpa had the most amazing Dutch accent. He loved babies, loved making silly noises for attention, and was very passionate about conserving electricity. He had the most amazing work ethic and taught me the value of appreciating the things I’ve earned. He was one of a kind and will forever be a part of who I am. Until we meet again, Gramps.
Love, Jenny
