Obituary of Jerry Ted Howell

Jerry T. Howell, 79, the son of Theodore Kermit Howell and Helen Marie Rivers, was born March 26, 1941, in Newton, Iowa.  Jerry attended Newton Community Schools and graduated from Newton High School with the Class of 1959.  On August 6, 1960, in Newton, Iowa, Jerry was united in marriage to Lillian Anderson.  He then attended L.I.F.E. Bible College for four years.  For 50 years, Jerry served as Pastor for several Foursquare Churches.

Jerry died on Friday, April 10, 2020, at Nelson Manor in Newton, Iowa.  Jerry was preceded in death by his parents. 

Those left to honor the memory of Jerry include his wife Lillian Howell of Newton, sons Greg A. (Tamara) Howell of Lancaster, CA and Aaron B. Howell of Newton, daughter Wendy D. (Chris) Prince of Newton, 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and sister Lois Birkenholz of Newton.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a memorial service will be held at a later date.

The Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home in Newton, have been entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial may be left to the family and left at the funeral home.
