My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. All of my memories of Ryan include him smiling. Maybe he didn't always feel like waving and smiling but he did. Such a good person gone to soon. I'm picturing him sitting on the couch working on his art, so talented, or riding his bike waving and smiling as he passes by. Ryan will be missed by many.

Ryan,
I am thinking of you and your family during this time. We went to school in Monroe together, and though we have lost touch over the years, I have always remembered you so fondly. A great smile, immeasurable artistic talents, and a heart the size the universe...may you rest forever in peace.
Love and light,
Heather (Pritchard) Dankert

Spent many days and long nights with Ryan in his Ranchero, at the Mid hotel, in Gail' s car he would navigate for her, and in Altoona. Many miles were driven and greatly enjoyed. He had great taste in music and always a quiet soul. Caring and the giggle of a stuffed animal. I'm actually surprised I don't ever remember how a hug felt from him because it seems like I have had them. That's how he made you feel. Even if he was sad. I hope and pray that his family finds peace and know I loved him like a brother. ~laurie

I often find myself thinking about the days we hung out. Always finding some sort of adventure. That damn picture on your living room wall she always stared at you no matter where you were in that room. Seems like your place was my second home throughout elementary. I wish we had hung out more as we grew older but time has a way of getting away from us. I hope you find the peace youve been searching for my friend.

My cousin Ryan Dearinger passed away too soon. At 46 years old. He was ten years my Senior. His deep and infectious laugh always made me laugh, then with head nodding, pulling his hair behind his ears, he would give a huge smile.
Ryan and I didn't see much of each other outside of Christmas and Thanksgiving later in life, but as I was growing up, he was always around on the weekends we spent in Reasnor. Most Sundays after church, our family would gravitate to my Grandma's house in the sleepy, softball driven town by the South Skunk river.
The cousins would gather, cause trouble, and have a laugh. Basketball in the park.
Ryan was a gifted artist. His portraits in particular. Lifelike details; Hair, eyes, noses. (I was always jealous about his rendering of noses for some reason, perhaps I could never get it right.) He's pencil drawings are incredible. Renderings of the Beatles, Marilyn Monroe, and subjects unnamed, truly are noteworthy from an artist's point of view. Why he didn't capitalize on that talent, that gift, and skill? We will never know.
The one thing that will forever make me think of Ryan is his unconditional abhorrence for vegetables.
No seriously. Meat and potatoes only at Thanksgiving. Turkey, ham, fresh mashed potatoes and gravy. Yes please!
Fuck your carrots, cheese tray, and sweet potatoes.
His plate lived like he did. His way, or no way.
See you in the details, love ya, and hold the vegetables.
