Robert G. Outhouse Jr. Robert passed away Monday evening, September 17, 2018, at the Skiff Medical Center in Newton. A time of remembrance and celebration of life will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 22, 2018, at Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home in Newton, who are entrusted with the arrangements. Burial will be in the Confidence Cemetery, Wayne County, Iowa. In lieu of flowers memorials may be designated to Robert's family. Robert Glen Outhouse Jr., 73, was born May 1, 1945, in Des Moines. The son of Robert Glen Outhouse Sr. and Louise (Sass) Outhouse, he was a graduate of the North Senior High School in Des Moines. On January 13, 1968, Robert was united in marriage with Dana Mae Petty in Nebraska. He was employed by the Maytag Company in Newton, retiring from the Assembly Department. He enjoyed hunting, camping, riding motorcycles and wintering in Arizona. Robert is survived by his wife Dana; a son Robert Allen (Meg) Outhouse; a daughter Julia Renee (Chris) Anderson; grandson Corbin Anderson; his brother John (Teri) Martin; and many good family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
