Obituary of T. Wayne Postma

T. Wayne Postma, the son of Wilber and Mary Elizabeth (Ramage) Postma, was born May 29, 1924 in Newton, Iowa. Wayne graduated from the Newton Senior High School with the class of 1943. Wayne retired from the assembly department at Automatic Washer. He then worked as a T.V. and radio repair man for many years. In his later years, Wayne enjoyed riding his bicycle around Newton and spending time with Bonnie and her family.
Wayne died on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at his home in Newton, Iowa. He was 91 years old. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Marvin Dale Postma.
Those left to honor Wayne’s memory include his special friends, Bonnie and Jason Barton and their children: Taylor, Hailey, Mackenzie and Bentley.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, Thursday, January 14, 2016 at the Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home in Newton. Memorials in Wayne’s name may be left at the funeral home.
