Obituary of Chad Eric Bailey

Chad Eric Bailey, 39, the son of Debra Ann Bailey-Wells, was born October 9, 1975, in Newton. He graduated from the Newton Basic and Beyond, Class of 1994. Chad enjoyed life, and RC Cars. He was employed by Dodd Trash Hauling and Recycling, for several years. He loved spending time with family and enjoyed sports, especially the Steelers Chad died Thursday, August 6, 2015, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his mother, Debbie Ann Purvis-Wells on Dec. 3, 2005; and his step father William Ray Wells in 2008. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Those left to honor the memory of Chad include his wife and best friend Carrie Bunch-Carre; a daughter Erica Bailey; his step children: Shea Carre, Victoria Cox and Alexandria Cox; his step father Larry Purvis; his step brother and step sister: Dave (Diana) Purvis and Kim (Keith) Mueller; and his many friends. A Celebration of Life for Chad will be held Thursday, August 13, 2015, at the Pence – Reese Funeral Home in Newton. Visitation will be 12 Noon until 2 p.m., with a time of Remembrance at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made in Chad's name.
