Obituary of Xander Dean Partelow

Xander Dean Partelow, of Des Moines, Iowa departed from this world on Monday, November 24, 2014 at the age of 4 years. Xander was crazy about Ninja turtles and would say, “I’m not saying I’m a Ninja I’m just saying no one has seen me and a Ninja at the same time.” Xander loved riding “Busa’s and 4-wheelers on the farm with Unkie Shawn, Mom, Dad, and Devan and golf cart riding with his sisters. Xander was born to Lucas and Shonna (Sabin) Partelow on January 29, 2010 in Polk County, Des Moines, Iowa. He was welcomed by three sisters, Kayleigh Marie, Hayleigh Ann, and Shayleigh Danielle. Xander was an amazing son, beloved brother and cherished grandson. Xander attended preschool at McKee Elementary in Des Moines, Iowa. Xander is survived by his parents, Lucas and Shonna Partelow, his sisters, Kayleigh, Hayleigh, and Shayleigh of Des Moines, Grandmother Patsy Partelow of Des Moines, Grandparents Dennis and Carla Sabin of Newton, Great Grandmother Gladys Sabin of Estherville, Aunt Shannon and Cousin Marshan Sabin-Carter of Des Moines and a host of other relatives and friends. Xander was preceded in death by Unkie Shawn Sabin, Great Paternal Grandparents Rex and Evelyn Heck, Great Great Maternal Grandmother Helen Eisenhower, Great Maternal Grandparents Carl & Sylvia Nauman, Paternal Grandfather Jerold Partelow, and Great Grandfather Eldon Sabin. Services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home in Newton. The family will greet family and friends at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Luke and Shonna Partelow and may be left at the funeral home.
