Remembering the many good memories with my Aunt Tootie at this time.

Most of the time Tootie reminded me of a little kid who got caught with their hand in the cookie jar, but that was just her smile:)

I thought I would share this passage because it has given me great comfort throughout the years. Isa 49:15 “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! Isa 49:16 See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;

I got to know Clara during her many visits to Newton Animal Clinic with her dear dogs. I often dropped off food or medicines for the dogs at her home if weather was bad, or she was not up to par. I enjoyed our visits and missed her after she moved away from Newton. She continued to call me for a year or so after she moved, then I lost track of where she was. I did not know she was back in Newton. I am so sorry for her loss, she was such a sweet lady! My sympathy to her family.

I have so many wonderful memories of Clara. I am thankful to God for letting me a part of her life. I hope I brought as much happiness to her as she brought to me. Her friendship was a gift I will cherish for ever.
