Many, many childhood memories. Andrea and I grew up about six blocks from each other. Dancing in her basement during junior high was almost a daily ritual. She will be missed.

Andrea and I were first friend in grade school she was so pretty with her long eyelashes and dark hair. We had a lot of fun together and I liked her parents a lot. We were both Catholic girls and went through First Communion and confirmation together with our friend Sarah Humpke. I remember in 6 grade Andrea, Carol S., Connie S.,and I declared ourselves Cheerleaders of the Emerson Hough 6th grade and wore Red wool blazers, stiched down pleated plaid skirts and black and white saddle shoes. I am very sad to say that I haven't seen Andrea in years and I am sorry so to hear of her passing.

Andrea was always such a tour de force. In our younger years, we would get together and find excuses to have a party, play games or have a barbecue nearly every weekend. I spoke with her on the telephone several years ago, but hadn't seen her in years. My niece ran into her though and passed on a message from her. I remember attending Newton's State Basketball Championship games with her parents and they were always so gracious and kind. Her family and friends are in my prayers.

I was so very sorry to hear that Andrea passed away. I am glad that I had the opportunity to visit with her at one of our reunions a few years ago. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this sad time.

My mother was one of a kind - I am not sure what the other kids and I will do without her. I pray that I will always get to see her in the many grandchildren she left behind. Cancer took so much of her body but never the will to live. I will miss you and will often recall all the times we had. Love, Bob

I appreciate reading what everyone has written so far. Andrea had many good friends when we were growing up together. As her little brother, it was my job to "bug" her and her friends as much as possible. I believe I succeeded most of the time. She leaves behind many friends, a great husband and five wonderful kids. We will truly miss her.

With Andrea there was always the Class of '66 news to catch up on when we talked, but her favorite subject was her family. Lyle, know how every much you grounded her life~ you, her children, and grandchildren were her substance. On behalf of our Class and myself, please accept our sincerest sympathies.

I got to know Andrea about 6 years ago. We discovered we shared a love of antiques and grandchildren. She was always so nice and I will miss her.
