I have no mother-in-law jokes to tell about Jackie. Rather, I can only sing her praise. She was tough and thorough with me when I wanted to date Karen but I passed her scrutiny. My parting words to her were "Thank you for giving me Karen." She has touched and enriched my life deeply and will never be forgotten.

The loss of a parent leaves an unbearable void in your heart and the words “I’m sorry” just don’t seem to be enough. Ramon has told me many wonderful stories about Mrs. Villafarra and I can honestly say I am truly regretful I will not have the chance to meet her. Please hold on tight to each other, the love, smiles, hugs and good times that were shared. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Dione Villafarra January 9, 2010
Momma, you were my mentor and my biggest supporter. You taught your children so many important things in life. Most of all, you taught all of your children Love. You taught us to be compassionate, honest, and to be true to yourself. You taught us to never let anyone else to play your hand. I could go on and on because there were so many lessons you taught us. So many times Momma, when I'm lost and don't know what to do, I ask myself, "how would my mother handlet this?" So many times this practice has helped me. I will continue to do this for the rest of my life. I will reflect on all of your innate knowledge and follow your lead for you were the smartest lady I've ever known. I've put you on a pedestal because that is where you belong. You were a wonderful Mother to all of us and I thank God for you. I'm praying to meet you again soon but until then I KNOW you are always on my side. I love you Momma.

Donna January 10, 2010

I will honor and cherish our memories together until I meet you again in Heaven. I will always love you Mom. Your loving and grateful son, Randy

Aunt Jackie, it’s been some time since I saw you last but as I went through your tribute video, I was instantly reminded of who you were – always so kind, smiling, laughing – and touching the lives of all of us. You will be missed here, but I know you fit right in among the other angels… Karen, Dionne, Randy and Ramon, my heart goes out to you through this difficult time, and I pray that you find peace in knowing that your mom will always be in each of you. And Uncle Rudy, I’m very sorry for your loss. My prayer for you is that you find the strength to be the glue that holds your family together, and be comforted by knowing that you lived a rich and wonderful life with Aunt Jackie. Love you all -Nikki

Nan Naw, One of my most vivid memories as a young girl is walking home from school and seeing my “Nan Naw and Paw Paws” car in our drive-way for one of those many visits. I still can remember the excitement I would feel in the pit of my stomach… Walking in the front door and seeing your gleaming smile and the scent of some freshly brewed coffee in the air… You would always say “There’s my first-born Grandchild”…Wow, what a amazing feeling! You were always able to make each one of us feel so special… Although, I have my moments of sadness and guilt of not being by your side in the end, I will keep that memory close to my heart for comfort. Thank you, Thank You For being my Nan Naw and for raising my strong mother!!! I love you!!! - Your First Grand Child~Melissa (Lessa LouLou)

Rick Villafarra January 17, 2010
Momma, God gave me you and then you told me "and God gave me you" and we became one. You taught our children well. They are very precious and love you so very much. In my eyes, you are my special saint. I love you past the Milky Way and beyond. I will always love you. One day, we'll be together forever!
